Las Vegas Condos Checklist

New Las Vegas Condos Are You Headed For Disappointment?

You probably don't shop for Las Vegas condos every day. So it might help if you had a checklist of things to watch for right? Especially if you're looking at a new condo for sale in Las Vegas.

Where's the unit? Corner units are coveted because you share fewer walls with neighbors. They go fast and cost more. Also how close are you to any elevators?

What all's included in the purchase price and what do you have to pay extra for? Who pays the electric , water, cable bills. Sometimes the association splits some utilities. Other times not.

How about parking and extra storage? And what provisions are there for visitor parking?

Most condos in Las Vegas come fully equipped. Still it wouldn’t hurt to find out who makes the appliances planned for the kitchen. As well as the washer and dryer in the laundry room.

Here's a biggie. What percentage of the units will be owner occupied? If more than half are planned to be owned by absentee landlords renting them out that's a definite red flag.

Condo association dues - how much and what do they cover? Beware. A complex where the new condo for sale in Las Vegas you’re looking at will sometimes low ball dues early on. Leaving them hurting for funds down the road when repairs or replacements have to be made.

If you're looking at new Las Vegas Condos these are some things to keep in mind.
